I’d lean towards Dooku. Mace’s Vappad won’t really work on Dooku because of how calm he always is, and that’s the only reason mace beat Sidious. Mace is a good duelist, but dooku was known for his dueling. If Mace didn’t have his Vappad, Sidious would have killed him. Dooku high diff.

For the people that are arguing that Dooku should have skill: Mace Windu’s skill with a lightsaber is on par with Yoda and Sidious, who are more skilled than Dooku. Dooku only mastered form 2 Makashi. Mace Windu mastered all lightsaber forms. As a matter of fact, Vaapad is an amalgamation of all lightsaber forms. This also means that Windu is well versed in Djem So, which is the best counter against Makashi.

Dooku is the high priority target now, capture him and its game over. Dooku had "control" over the planet via ghosts, and eclipse being vital for the ghosts to appear, was ending soon. This is why we see Dooku retreating off world in the end. Dooku takes a big risk in even dueling Windu here, as the Timelines guidebook places this event after Dooku was captured by the onaka gang. He cannot disappoint Master Sidious at this point in time. The duel begins on equal footing. Dooku jumps down off the tank, landing on the ground. They square up, Windu and Dooku both then clash at the same time. This initial exchange is the most impressive part, as Dooku lands a clean force push first. Right off the bat against the younger Windu. This is telling. This causes Windu to not only get send flying, but also down to his Knee, sliding back further. This force push causes Mace Windu to squint in seriousness. So, the initial exchange, regardless of talking, as Dooku is constantly antagonizing Windu. And even discussing his own plans with Windu. Dooku almost seems to be toying at first. Back to the duel. Dooku just force pushed windu back. Dooku even puts his saber away for a moment while he yeeted Windu. He then reignites his crimson blade, and then Dooku saber salutes Windu, in appreciation: "A Master with saber, and I know you've admired my own skills." (Dooku to Windu) Windu squints in seriousness. This initial exchange puts Dooku up alot, in every way. This is a big deal. (It's NOW on windu to catch up and make this a draw, as Dooku has landed and some) Now, after getting yeeted, windu is completely silent. Dooku is telling Windu everything. At this point, a nearby clone trooper is strangled and thrown to his death by a ghost, controlled by Dooku. This gives Windu massive motivation. Windu, with newfound motivation to take Dooku down, and end the war, jumps high with a TWO handed overhead strike, landing overtop Dooku, who Easily plays backstep defense against this. Why are we saying Dooku was on his knees struggling against any of this? Wrong. Next frame has another clash, then another (this clash shows Dookus saber underneath Windus, indicating Dooku is getting closer within the exchanges blade to blade, closer to landing. This would be skill. Dooku, by continuing to discuss with Windu exactly his step by step ability to control the ghosts, gives Windu the idea based on his wording, landing the force push, finally. It took Windu this long to finally catch up. One for one on force pushes. While Dooku was flown back, he Never goes to his knees, sliding back like Windu did. He stays upright, as we see him in defensive posture in the next panel, indicating he regained his footing from the force push, and slid on both his feet. ( See Anakin vs Dooku on tatooine. When Tyranus fought Yoda on Geonosis, he held his ground and even went on the offensive at times, he wasn't pushed on the backfoot by Yoda's frenzy style of attack, and this was after he consecutively fought and beat two Jedi knights. Tyranus was a full fledged Sith Lord (Which some people refuse to think for some reason) BUT, he wasn't buried in his hatred. Considering he actually knows Windu's form and wouldent be caught off guard by it, I think he would be fully capable of staying consistent with himself during their duel since he was still able to go toe to toe with Yoda as a Jedi, even. As a bonus, he has more midichlorians iirc. Now, do not mistake me as one of the "diff" folks. This would be a very tight battle, but Tyranus' seemingly slight edge in force mastery and near indomitable lightsaber talent, I think it gives him the edge on Windu. I believe if I were to give this a diff rating, it'd be extreme diff for Tyranus.
