MacG, I hope this interview is saved and archived somewhere important. We will never find another person who has lived her life so publicly, made her mistakes so publicly yet still comes back to reflect on it so thoughtfully. I am in awe of the maturity in her reflection, the detail in her reflections and how she sounds like she has done the psychological work that makes it possible for us (as the public, as onlookers, as haters, as judgemental pricks) to never break her. One day someone will write this biography and it will be great. Thanks Khanyi.

This is why Podcasts are important, you can never get this level of detail from any other media source apart from a Biography or a Documentary. Obviously, there are always two sides to each story, but podcasts are the best at getting to the bottom of things without rushing.

Those age gaps existed in other parts of the country,not where I grew up and people think it's a rural area😒. Even then,it's all about what parents prioritised for their children. I know that my grandparents prioritized independence for their daughters even though they didn't have much to give them, especially my maternal grandfather. It's never okay to let young girls think their ticket to a better life is through a man😭☹️
@siphokazileratomalinga29694 жыл бұрын
@@HenryDube72 I agree with you about parents preferences for their children. It's also about what parents expose their children to that plays a part in the choices children make. Children that grow up in an environment whereby they are told to phanda end up doing anything and everything for money. We are ultimately responsible for the choices we make but the role played by parents, a parent or an adult figure in a child's life is just as important🙏💔
