Mach-DSP coil temperature calculations and adjustments

www.ScannerMAX.com This video explains how the two separate methods that the Mach-DSP may calculate the coil temperature in the scanner. One method is insensitive to cable length, but will underestimate the temperature if the user does a bad job of heat-sinking the scanner.
The other method is will accurately calculate coil temperature even if the user does a bad job with heat sinking, but it requires very precise data to be input by the user. When Pangolin ships a system, we input correct data, but this may be difficult for users.
This video also discusses how to adjust the system if you increase the length of the cable between the servo driver and the scanners.
