MACH LOOP! LOOK THE POWERFULL F-35A FLY'S LOW LEVEL IN THE WELSH MOUNTAINS

Its been way to long! but here are some USAF F-35A Lightning II through the Mach Loop and with high humidity gave dramatic vapor on and around the airframes what a treat!! Also in this Mach Loop Video MC-130J Commando II ‘Herk’ from 67th Special Ops during a Low Fly! and a pair of RAF Texans based at RAF Valley

In the '80s we spent a lot of time camping and caravanning on Tom Nutting's farm at Cwmrhwyddfor, at the bottom of the valley where the planes turn left for Corris and all points south. This was before the whole Mach Loop thing was a thing. The Hercules' occasionally came REALLY low over the farm and the pilots used to wave back to the kids. There was usually a couple of folk chilling and waving from the open rear ramp too.

Fantastic footage ,F35 is an amazing aircraft here in Australia. we currently have 60 with 12 more to be delivered, I believe. We were in the N.T. 2023 during U.S. -Aussie war games, we briefly saw them in action quite a highlight.

F35 an amazing aircraft ? When it's flying MAYBE but it's current availability (conflict ready) % is appalling in the USA right at the moment at 15% because of the massive backlog of parts needing repair , it should be 55% apparently and even that figure is mindblowing ! The astronomical maintenance costs and flight costs are ridiculous (40,000 USD per hour) so as these literally flying gold bars navigate the loop it's costing $666.00 per minute .

Damn, the pilot from 1:38 really flew a combat line, every other F-35 went way higher, but that pilot kept it super low and ducked down aggressively into the valley right after the pass.

HA HA HA, I FLASHED MY HEADLIGHTS AT THOSE TEXANS ON THURSDAY!! I was driving home to Machynlleth from Llandudno on Thursday afternoon. Around 2 pm or so, I passed Bala, and noticed this weird scene; Two Texans, low and fast, coming towards me. I flashed my headlights at them (they were LOW) and waved out the sunroof. The probably didn't notice the old wanker flashing lights at them. But it was such a cool sight. Just above me they did a high G bank to the right and back over the mountain. It's epic that we have this in Wales
