Joe Double U Here's the deal. A car that can be modified to crazy performance can be had for a combo at McDonald's. This leads to a lot of children buying them. What they don't know is that it takes as much money to build it as it takes to build a Supra. Hence you get what you get. It's the market.

IS300 platform is the MOST underrated platform. A true car that can be built for anything. That sadly most of them get stances out and destroyed and never see the real potential as a fast lightweight turbo sedan.

Yes, sometimes tuning kids can be really ridiculous. I have a IS300 myself, and I got this car for the specific purpose that it looks so innocent from the outside and drives so well on the mountain roads.

Not meant to disrespect the build, this build was sick af! Love the 1Jz on the IS300 chassis but honestly the rims and tires are abit too wide for track purposes, hence the underpowered 3rd gear. 17 inch wheels will have been perfect. Coming from an Altezza turbo owner.

I love this car. One thing though, why does it have BN sports stickers on every part of aero when its not BN but Fineline MBN? For example I guess everybody would be mad if he would use Blitz caps on fake wheels

To be fair, this car did originally have the authentic BN Sports aero which has since gone into storage considering how quickly the aero is destroyed while drifting. John runs the replica aero to maintain the look while avoid having to pay $2000 to replace the aero every month. The stickers are really there just to complete the look of the car. ✌🏻

It’s really funny you mention that. Taka did bring up that the wing was generating a ton of downforce on the high speed portions of the track, which was new to us since before this the car had only been on smaller technical tracks where it was only seeing 2nd gear. Definitely something to take into consideration for the future.
