i thought the same thing about breakcore when i was younger. Figuring it would become mainstream by 2010 or something. Then at one time there was a mainstream hit of which i don't know the name anymore, and it had these glitchy noises and stutters, etc. And the first time i heard it i was like: yep, this is it, breakcore has reached mainstream audience. Just like when dubstep was gaining popularity in the US & Canada. It all became an entire shitshow.
