I mean, to maintain the same mentality for years, humans are constantly evolving, plus a lot of things have happened, it’s normal that he’s changed his mentality somehow. He’s not the same kid anymore. And about the passion, I would say he’s even more passionate now, he actually addresses that fact in his song “Death in my pocket” from Hotel Diablo. He’s still passionate about his music, a example of it is his quarantine project (the songs he covered, freestyles and stuff) and his creativity level has clearly improved. I appreciate the changes.

Tickets to my downfall coming out really made me so happy in a long while, I can just feel how much happier Colson is in this project in stark contrast to Hotel Diablo. I really feel a connection to MGK in some way Three days ago marked the 10th month of me being sober for the first time after 3 years of taking absurd amounts of xanax, oxys, mdma and coke, I was high almost every day for so long I kinda lost touch with reality and I didn't even recognize myself, I felt like I was on autopilot destined to one day take 1 pill too much and not wake up, So many friendships thrown away, so much guilt for my family which tried their best to help me cause they were scared to see me in a coffin but I shunned them away, so many nights spent at a police station, so many of my mom's tears which fell on deaf ears, so much time wasted, so many regrets created. Now I feel reborn for the first time and actually in control of my life, of course I could never right certain wrongs and of course the first few months of rehab was the worst time of my life(the first days of going cold turkey I wanted to just die or get high) but I'm so happy to be starting over this time with a fresh outlook on life, last years felt so much like a hazy dream, now I'm just happy to be living again. Idk, I just had to say it, I'm really happy rn, also cause it's the first time after so much time that I'm actually experiencing my favorite season sober 🍁 10 months going strong!
