I listened to this when it came out in 1994. I was 13. Had a huge Machine head logo on my school bag. Kids thought I was a Satanist as I grew up in a very conservative South Africa I think Burn my Eyes was probably the best debut album ever by a metal band. Burn my Eyes is the only album I've ever heard where I've forged that same connection through the drum work. It goes behind words.
