I find your pattern really well made and easy to understand. I might go out of my comfort zone and try to follow a pattern for once instead of just playing with techniques... :). For the single purl stitches you drop the stitch and rehang it, like you have shown in one of your videos, right? Perhaps it is an idea to link the videos showing the different procedures in the description?

Hello! I have to say that I agree with you, it's time to get out of your comfort zone :) Yes, a purl stitch is what I have shown in many other tutorials where a live stitch is unraveled and reformed with a latch tool. When you machine knit, the back (also called wrong side) faces you, so it looks like a stockinette stitch from where your sitting but on the front or the right side it is a purl stitch. Thank you for your input!

That was a brilliant idea to add the link of tutorials in the pattern instruction! Thank you!!!

Where did you get the graph paper to do this pattern on?
@knittingonthehook4 ай бұрын
Hi, the graph paper was in a book I borrowed from my local library and I made photocopies. I think you can Google knitting graph paper and you can download for free at some knitting websites. Yes it is very useful to have when trying to figure out shaping, nice to have a visual of what's on your creative mind before the actual knitting. 😊

This is gorgeous, I wish that I knew how to make it in bigger sizes for my 5 and 6 year old girls. I started MK only 1- 1/2 years ago. I'm not too acquainted with the math yet and sizing. Thank you for the excellent, beautiful pattern and instruction.

Thank you Knitting Nana for your kind and positive comment. If you have any interest in learning to make your own patterns, I would recommend a book that I regularly borrow from my local library: Sally Melville, Knitting Pattern Essentials. The information and calculations can easily be applied to MK, if nothing else it gets your mind thinking in that direction :) I would also suggest visiting Paula Ward KZbin channel she does an excellent job teaching the math for sizing, here the link to her playlist on designing and knitting a sweater kzbin.info/aero/PL7091F5F9FE37F937 again hand knitting but the information is very useful for MK when planning a project :)

@@knittingonthehook thank you, just to let you know, the Sally Melville book is available on Amazon, very cheap, too. Thanks a whole lot, I appreciate the advice.
