I love these Machine Robo designs. Never had the pleasure of messing with one this minty fresh or from the original Japanese release, but honestly, I think even a little bit worn, they retain much of their charm. UFO Robo/Pathfinder and Porsche Robo/Crasher are two of my favorites.

I think this guy might have been one of my first GoBots. It was either him or Pathfinder, I can't quite recall.

We bought a few of them too before they were machine robo, from a guy that owned a very little store with toys directly from Japan. It was such a cool store, in the middle of nowhere. We bought a few toys like BIOMAN, some Shogun warriors, etc.... this was even before transformers existed.
