Shut up you know transtech right well check my channel i did his transtech version in lego with diferent transformation (legs and head transformation is based on the toy) but it looked almost the same in robot mode. Pls check it out i'm begging you. Btw did you know that transtech starscream is the first deluxe class toy in having a leader or ultra class gimmick(if you don't know what i'm talking about is that if you transformed him in his F-016 jet his legs and shoulder guns can change in color and the color depends on the tranformation. My lego version doesnt have the leader class gimmick unfortunetly.

Your review helped me figure out why King Atlas seemed so familiar as a toy. It's basically the same principle as Fighbird. Awesome jet mode, so-so brick of a robot mode.

Personally, I think a more likely conspiracy theory is that it was a trademark grab. We know Hasbro lost a fair bit of their original trademarks around this time, so maybe this was Hasbro's way of keeping these trademarks active and maintaining their rights for future use.

Well that would hold water only if Hasbro was releasing Transformers at the time under the Hasbro name, they weren't. They had shunted them to their newly bought Subsidiary Kenner. (which Hasbro acquired in 1991 when they bought Tonka)

Actually, somehow I'm in LOVE with this toy! I don't know why but I just really like it, it just looks so good in both modes and the colour scheme is PERFECT! Although this wouldn't be starscream to me it just seems perfect. This is actually going to be one of my favourite transformers of all time! Too bad I won't be able to get a hold of it easily though.

I have a Skyquake, it's really weird because the turquoise plastic has broken but the gold plastic is as solid as it would have been 25 years ago

Also (Im not sure if it was intended or not) you can look through the megavisor piece in robot mode and (on the versions that dont have insignias block the view) you can look through the figure like some kind of weird scanner/scouter scope thing

All the gimicks (sans Missile launcher and the megavisor) are all present on the King Atlas deco from Universe (which is apearantly based of Dai Atlas from the ZONE ova) If you liked this version of the figure, SERIOUSLY PICK OF THE KA version. Its amazing

There was a Transformer fan animation, Transformers: Redemption and this was how SS looked like in it. I personally dig this version of him. Its so unusual and big. It really feels like Scream in this body is ready to kick some butt.

I think Machine Wars was the name slap to preserve trade marks toy line. It seemed like all the toys were designed as a completely different character than the name they got stuck with.

I always loved the vehicle mode for this mold, and although it is a bit dark and doomy I think of the three variants we've received, this was the best. I'd love to see a version of this with modern engineering. Even if they kept the same colours and called it Skyquake I'd be happy (I'm pretty sure the name hasn't been reused, so that should not be a problem).

Legacy Skyquake and Dreadwing are close enough approximations of the design in a modern toy, albeit crossed with the Prime version of the mold's namesake, so here's to hoping that mold gets repainted into MW Starscream or Universe King Atlas in addition to the inevitable G1 toy deco.

PullThePower Fourze's wasn't too popular so you should be able to find someone selling it, trick is getting enough Switches to make it worth purchasing since it only comes with the basic four.
