I see why bands takes forever to make a song or an album. They go through so many phases.

People can talk smack about Robb or say the riffs in Phil new song are better than anything on Catharsis. But Robb knows how to write a fucking song, memorable melody that lasts long after "those riffs" have finished. I reckon he has another killer album in him.

Considering the recent song Phil released you definitely see a huge difference in song writing. Robb knows how to arrange a song and ideas. This sounds really good by the way.

Must admit I was loving the new Phil song when I first heard it come out but I genuinely haven't gone back to it since the first day or 2. Was good but kind of forgettable, Robb's are definitely the ones that last!

I think Phils riffs to Permanent Decay would have worked amazingly in the MH-context. But, oh well... it is what it is. This song sounds fuckin great.
@barrypatton64244 жыл бұрын
Robbs a far superior song writer to Phil, I liked permanent decay but I dunno if he has as good an idea on layering and stuff. He’d probably tell you himself Robbs better at that stuff tho. Still looking forward to hearing more from him.

Even if that seems to be an exception as an provisional musican, I'm releaved to hear that it takes such a long time to bring out some music (almost 2 years), because me and my band have written down songs some songs in 2015, some in 2016 but didnt recorded the whole shit since then. No time, no money and as well because of member changes ... :-( But it keeps me in a hopefully way to know that sometimes good things need time. Ether way I also know this feeling when you need to get your mind free, because of you did not brought it to and end yet ...^^

Robb likes to hear himself talk part 2. Glad to see you're writing music for emo kids. Maybe the album after this will be in the vein of Blink-182 with some angst. O, you could start putting estrogen booster shots with a box set and t-shirt that reads Power of the Feminine.
