New mic feedback - you sound just as good as you always do man 😉 👉👉👉. I love it when there's a new upload from you. Thorough enjoy it every time. I could watch and listen to one every single day if possible. Your ability and knowledge levels are super impressive, and as for a KZbinr who talks, for me, your voice is right up there with This Old Tony, RRC, Ca Lem, and Diecast Resurrection (RIP, gone but not forgotten 😢). Thanks for sharing dude 🙏🙏🙏. 😎

23:37 you can also use a little bit of naphtha. Tho i wouldn't do this inside an enclosed space as that stuff is naaasty. The risk is well worth it, it dissolves any grime very fast and very well. Whenever i do maintenance on my bike, i take out the engine, and chuck basically everything else that's not rubber or fuel weak plastic in there and they come out clean as new. It does leave a white residue, but some water and a little bit of dish soap cleans it fast.

Any reason you didn't spray brake cleaner on the points? There is still some oil residue on the condenser wire that easily migrates to the points again.

There are no stupid questions, but I am an inquisitive idiot...why does the decal on one side say "6 Horsepower" and "8 Horsepower" on the other?
@MachineryRestorer

lol Westwood must have run out of ‘8’ decals so they used the W6’s decal and then they stuck an 8 over it. On one side the 8 has peeled off

No se porqué, pero veo que empezó por lo menos importante. Lo primero que se revisa es el estado mecánico del motor, el carburador, el encendido, motor de arranque, tanque de combustible y después los accesorios menos importantes. (Si es que realmente lo va a "restaurar")

I really like the way the British say, "the belt is perished". An American like James Condon says, "the gas line has become petrified". Both adequate descriptions that the gas line needs changed. James also checks the air filter, and changes it immediately if as he rubs it with his finger & little balls roll off.
