The thread micrometer measure the middle of a thread. It means you could be OK with a thread micrometer but still have a bad thread because of the broken tip of the turning plate you have used for the thread.

do you have a link on that film you put on the window? Just curious how long those last?

Wonder if a product called rainx would work for long enough in coolant. Its amazing for driving in rain.
@NotCheezzy3 ай бұрын
@JordyP89 Rainx works for a short period of time, but then you're contaminating your coolant.

Never used Flycutters on ferrous metals except cast iron. They work great on aluminum and bronze alloys. Great videos. I can smell the Trimsol.

What coolant are you using in your cnc mill?
@OctaneWorkholding5 ай бұрын
Qualichem 251C
@Inatool5 ай бұрын
@@OctaneWorkholding Ok, I haven't tried that. I have tried others and depending on the use of the machine the coolant sits in the tank undisturbed and goes rancid quickly.

@@Inatool Qualichem 251C doesn't have any of those issues. It even smells like oranges.

@@OctaneWorkholding Ok, I might try some. Do you purchase the coolant from a US distributor that will ship a 5 gallon bucket?
