-Bit of masterclass summary 1. Role of flashbang in this game is breaking through the area of uncertain info(enemies position, to be specific). It is really useful gadget when you are required to give attention to multiple angles and places where enemies might be. 2. While throwing your flashbang into room/corridor, bouncing them to door frame or safe walls in your line of sights not only makes you able to toss your flashbang safely into the place but also gives enemies short amount of reaction time because the flashbang already traveled distance and burned their fuse before they bounce off. So on the enemies's sights, it won't even take a second for those flashbangs make some problems for them. This rule can applied to corner peek, room clearing, vertical plays, etc. 3. You might want to throw your flashbang straight into the room because bouncing them is hard to calculate the place where they are about to land on and those uncertain throw sometimes makes some enemies not get stunned at all because they were at the corner of room or behind the table or something and also you might stun your friend. So, while straight-throwing your flashbang, make sure it lands on position where the flash can stun pretty much every person in that room(think of this as a "coverage area" concept.). Also you need to know the map well so you'll know the place where enemies not getting stunned if they were at and to check those place first to clear the room and push forward. idk if I got it right.

@@OG_Loc he ment to the right of macie. The valk being at dining door.
@counterfeit44502 жыл бұрын
@@Salvi_J2 No, he was just mishearing the audio queues. Sound in Rainbow Six changes when you open holes in floors and walls. The sound goes through holes and around objects. So when Macie opened the hatch, the valks audio was coming through the hatch and to the right which almost makes it sound like she's directly on his right. The audio for spectators is also extremely buggy right now which may also contribute. It was a terrible call either way.

Macie has the best content for siege, I feel like he plays it the way it’s supposed to be played. He utilizes map knowledge, utility, information, angles, and strategy so smoothly. None of that twitchy crouch spam bs, just out plays people in every way that’s available. Masterful. Thanks macie for the years of content! You’re a siege legend and the main reason I started playing this game in the first place

4:20 isnt it preferred to swing on a flashbang throw instead of trying to run away blind?
@zachbull10382 жыл бұрын
yeah thats what I was thinking. you have a better chance at swinging and getting a split second headshot then just sitting there and getting full flashed
@bigasianboy2072 жыл бұрын
The flash mechanics have changed, meaning that it's best to run away than swing on the attacker.
@zachbull10382 жыл бұрын
@@bigasianboy207 how so. either way you’re gonna get full flashed. may as well try to shoot em before it goes off
@bigasianboy2072 жыл бұрын
@@zachbull1038 Before the flashes effect was based on the 1st person vision coming in contact with the flash bang (if you remember you could turn away from the flash and be fine). Where as now it's based on proximity. So from this info, a Close quarters flash bang is gonna be closer in proximity to the attacker than if you were to run away to get to cover or a safe place.
@zachbull10382 жыл бұрын
@@bigasianboy207 I know that, it even helps my point. In this specific scenario the flash is close enough that you’re going to get full flashed regardless of wether you swing or not, even if you look away. So it would be better to swing and have a chance at landing a headshot then to just sit still and get full flashed.
