Tony McPhee used to hang around Streatham with Steve Rye (harmonica) and occasionally come around to our house before 'hitting the town'. Steve Rye lived a few houses up from me in Amesbury Avenue, Streatham Hill. Along with other musicians like Gerry Sheppard. They formed a band with my brother Steve called 'Dwarf'. Gerry went on with the Glitter Band. we lived about 150 yards from the Locarno. Great times to grow up in Sarf London.

Bought this Lp in 1970 from a Bargain Bin for 28 Cents. Still have it and play it. Great Stuff and holds up well.

I saw them at The Corn Exchange in Cambridge England. They backed up Hawkwind. What a show! I was 16 at the time (1973).

40 yrs for me as well, just as good second time around. Saw them one sunday afternoon in a club just off Charing Cross road. everybody though Tony was going to take over from Taylor in the Stones. Good taste maclekstudio

Saw them Portsmouth, tony playing guitar from back room sound coming out of speakers then he appeared oh was the first time ever I'd seen a transmitter on a guitar, then he walked into the audience still playing brilliant think it was 1973

Saw them in1969 Lincoln racecourse played in a big inflatable dome expo 69.i was 17 I was a mod, many greasers there, lucky to get out alive
