I don't understand how these irons go under the radar so much for people who want a great CB iron. I went from mizuno mp-33's to these. The miss hits off the toe with the 620cb's are as good if not better than i200's i had before as well.. The only downside to them is they don't have the mizuno buttery feel unless you hit them absolutely perfect. But they are about as close as you can get to blade sized heads for a CB and just, in my opinion offer a ton of forgiveness for that size of a head. I feel like if more tour pros actually tested with these instead of the newest models they would be in the bag for a lot more guys.

Simon, you’re a rarity, passionate without being preachy, pragmatic without turning into ‘Dad Mode’ and essentially like your mate that’s miles better than you, just trying to help

The stealth 2 hd fairway woods are the easiest woods to hit out there. Anyone that struggles with woods should search for one. Never hit the cobras, but I can’t imagine they can be easier to use. The qi10 max woods are even better than the stealth 2 hd and give more workability. Obviously since they are new you’re spending more than the stealth 2, but either are a great choice. My 3 and 7 is stealth 2 hd and 5 is the qi10 max. Absolutely love them

I've got a Cobra Baffler 3 wood from about 10 years ago, that I bought second hand on a whim, and it is easily my most trusted club in the bag. Super forgiving, and pretty long too.

I had the sm9’s and changed to the sm10’s what a mistake, I believe the 9 is the better wedge all round 🤦♂️

I game a set of 1986 Titleist DTR irons with a Cleveland 52⁰... Mack Daddy 56⁰... SM9 60⁰... and Pinemeadow 68⁰... I know my irons and I trust them. I buy new wedges when the milling wears down, but irons I keep forever. Finally upgraded my RBZ driver to a Stealth 2 Plus this season since the Qi came out and everyone is trading in their Stealth sets. They haven't changed the COR regulations since the 90s... clubs might be more forgiving today, but they are only longer due to loft fuckery... Use what you get along with. I love raising eyebrows when I pure a 40yr old 8i to 5 feet of the pin... 😂

Great vid as always Simon but as you've proposed, a question for you - I currently play of 15-18 (hcap of 8 some 10 years ago but at 64 years old now, age and lack of fitness have caught up with me) and game the original Wilson FG Tour irons alternating with the ego clubs, Wilson FG 100 blades. Any major benefit in trading in both sets to get the Wilson V6 as this is the only way I could fund or justify any possible "upgrade"? BTW, Wilson player for the past 50 years lol.

Bob is a lefty, so options are limited. Manufacturers only offer high selling specs from Scotties to Wilson...

Perhaps the key question here is how much time, energy and finance has been invested in Rob MacIntyre's development to make him capable of playing these clubs with such success?🤷♂

You are always going to loose a bit of distance with not hitting the center! Even on super hot, chunky game improvement irons, and who wouldn't rather play with some nice blades!!!
