Mack LE - Heil DuraPack Half/Pack Garbage Truck

Here's another video of one of my favorite trucks! This truck, a Mack LE with a Heil DuraPack Half/Pack front loader body, outfitted with a Curotto-Can Slammin' Eagle, is seen here maneuvering through a mobile home park, collecting overfilled and tightly spaced carts with ease. When I filmed this video back in February, this truck was the local yard's spare. From what I understand, it now collects a predominantly rural route, about an hour's drive out of town, which was previously collected by the Volvo WXLL/Wittke Starlight.
As always, I would like to extend my thanks to the driver for allowing me to film this truck in action, as well as for providing top-quality, professional service to this community. I'd also like to thank all of you for watching!

this was my favorite trash truck video as a little kid it still is now as of 2023 i just turned 12 a few months ago im still a child and i still like it just as much as i did when i was 6 years old i clearly remember this video i didnt say this brings child hood memories beacause im still a child i have many years until im an adult not yet but in over 5 more years time does fly to most people but not to me i could live another over 108 more years and ill still love this video .

I used to watch this allllll the time when I was little. The only things I would watch on KZbin when I was like 5 or 6 and younger, I would only watch garage doors, garbage trucks, and sometimes trains. This is a video I would watch all the time. I'm now 9 and I'm more into trains these days, but I still love garbage trucks. I always smile when I see my fav vids I used to watch. Thank you for making this.

What happens on a very windy day? What about cars that are parked on the road? Doesn't seem to have very far of reach. A Sidewinder has a 12' reach and dumps in a hopper protected by the wind. It also has a continuous pack option. Now if you could get Curotto-Can that has arms on both sides (i.e do both sides of the street at once) then that would be a game changer.
