The thing I like most about your channel is you don’t just catch large cars or cool trucks, you catch all trucks. Even white company trucks most channels ignore.

Sometimes I’ll see somebody not catch an R model and I’ll just think why.. people don’t realize that these trucks are going extinct quick. And I love having a variety in my channel so it’s not the same old every time.

@@wisconsinbigrigs8427 Facts, in my 15 years in Montreal i think ive seen a maximum of 4-5 R models. The trucking industry here is big with Volvos and International machines

@@dhblan8591 actually I have I drove one otr a 2001 Mack ch613 TRI axle heavy haul and I also drove a vision a Rd 688 dump truck and a mack r model. I like them cause they are real trucks not the plastic junk today. I like the durable, reliable and passion these trucks were built with. So yes I have drove them.

@@FFEMTCrowe Sorry, did not mean to offend. I was mainly joking about the ride - at least ours rode really hard. Of course part of the reason for the hard ride was that the R model was a work truck and built really tough.

One major problem with R Model Macks was their steel cabs tended to rust at the bottom of the door and the panel below the doors (see @2:49). Thanks for the video and for the memories. I drove one for years.
