Thanks for the incredible work! Always love the quality of your editing. Could you enable the auto generated captions (if that's a setting you can change) for this video? Sometimes I turn them on when I don't understand an accent, but it isn't available in the menu for this one.

@@lozdyer1087 John Tyler, the 10th president of the United States who was born in 1790, currently has a living 94 year old grandson named "Harrison Ruffin Tyler." Lee's story is entirely (biologically) believable, but John Tyler had 15 children in total, 7 with a woman 30 years younger than him, so I'm not sure if such an extreme case would happen nowadays.

@@Lily-BravoIt is decently possible, not necessarily even that extreme of an age gap. Hypothetically if his granddad was 41 at the time of his dad's birth, and his dad was 41 at the time of his birth, then his granddad would be 100 when he turned 18. A little older than average to be having kids but really not that extreme, especially if both him and his dad weren't the firstborn of their generations. Of course a clean divide like that is unlikely in reality and it does become more extreme if you skew it a little either way, but it isn't necessarily an old age to become a dad at for either of them

I don’t think much of Lee Mack’s scripted work, but credit where credit’s due: he’s amongst the very fastest improvisers out there. He’s as sharp as Paul Merton was at his peak.

Thanks for working hard on this video man. As a video editor myself, i know it could even take days to just rewatch all the series, choosing the specific clips that has Lee's wits in them, and stitching them up together into a 2-hour video. Thanks for always making this amazing show accessible for non-Brits such as myself. (And long live Lee Mack!)

All the laughter is a great workout for the stomach muscles. 🤣Lee has me in stitches most the time. I've been watching Rob Brydon's podcast and he says Lee is the quickest wit he knows.

I love Lee's interaction with Joan Bakewell at 12:36...the "I'm kidding, I believe you" line is just perfectly mean, deflationary and funny at the same time. He's basically just doing the same stuff we all did when we were at school, only he's mastered it and is getting paid for it.

That was brilliant. He buttered her up, flattered, flirted charmingly, then dropped the other shoe on her. Such a gift for mimicry and pantomime. If Lee had been born in the late 1800's I think he would've given Charlie Chaplain real competition, or anyway, had a spectacular career on 'the boards'.
