Dump truck anywhere from 20,000 to 55000 or more loaded down. Police car maybe 5000 if that. No contest. Disadvantage to the truck is the computer systems. The left front is where the ECM usually is on engine block behind the steer on that side. There are several other ways to disable 18 wheelers but too much for these little YT Post boxes.

I always thought the radiator of a truck or car was a weak point. A hole in the radiator leaks coolant, steam billows up from under the hood, the engine overheats, and the vehicle has to stop. And aren’t most radiators right up front? Wouldn’t a few well placed shots, darts, an arrow - heck, even a paint ball eventually disable big brute vehicles like this? I never see police 🚓 doing anything like that, so obviously I’m incorrect, but what am I missing?🎯 Why doesn’t that work?

On some older iron trucks you can run without coolant for a little while. It will eventually reach engine failure and fire. The modern computer trucks will shut down if the coolant container is empty. You used to be able to override with a paper clip to short the sensor out.

I thought that too at first, but he knows the cops are radioing directions to other cops in the area to possibly setup spike strips etc, so if you get them thinking east, and then go west, maybe you can buy a little more time. It's only going to work once though lol. I also liked his maneuver where he got on the dirt road and created a smoke screen, which gave him an opportunity to back into them. I don't know why he didn't follow through with it though. Disable the lead car on that narrow road and you're in business.

First problem here is not enough police cars in pursuit, can't catch a truck with just one police car, you need at least 12 or more so when they finally get him stopped there will be one to tell the driver to gt out and 3 or 4 to tell him to put his hands in the air another one to tell him to get on the ground another one to tell him to walk backwards toward the sound of his voice another one to tell him hands on your head and another 5 or 6 screaming curse words and stupid directives and the driver will eventually say oh hell just shoot me now and get me out of this nightmare WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liberty Mutual refused to cover my workmen s comp after a bad work injury and i had to go 6 months with out getting the extra help with the pain i was suffering. I’m always amazed that officers focus on the tires for large vehicle pursuits which are pretty tough however if they are in a “take him out “ scenario shoot the radiator it can’t go if the engine dies. Most times you can still move with flat or no tires but diesel engines do not last long overheating

The main air tanks are going to be inside the rig's frame, fuel tank area. You cannot get a good line of sight to them in a situation like that. The compressor however is on the left front of the engine block more or less as it's driven by it.
