When I fished mackerel we used twelve hook called darras and pulled by hand some times we got as much as thee tons a day and very sore arms all for a dollar a box and we were well paid in those days I look in envy at the new method of fishing and think how could I not have thought of that but ten cent beer twenty cent cigarettes and the lassies took care of that idea
