It baffles me how most youtubers only use one music genres when testing the audio..... Even when they do indeed use more than one, it's either genres with similar tone (EDM & RnB, for example), or more than one songs but still the same genre.

Is the AUX-OUT full range. Like could I make this speaker a center channel, and then run a 3.5mm to RCA line out to my SMSL SA300 Class D DAC/AMP 2.0 bookshelf speaker setup? My bookshelves have 6.5" woofers, so I'm pretty happy with the low range, but I have them spread out pretty far on my desk, so I find that I have trouble balancing speech and mid-range frequencies in the center. I was thinking USB > Mackie StealBar > 3.5mm AUX out to RCA line in on SA300 > 2.0 bookshelves. Do you think this could work without issue? I basically just want to add a center channel to my 2.0 system without having to purchase a giant home theater style receiver.

You know, i don’t have a 2.1 system to test with but it does put out full range to my 7.1 headphones.. i know it’s not apples to apples but i hope that helps. If not - sorry! :(

Is the aux-OUT volume also controlled by the volume knob? That would be perfect to connect a subwoofer.

Yes it sure is controlled by the knob! Good point!

This review was great, had the same issue with my speaker as your first one. Out of box was giving me the same issue, maybe a common defect?

On a mac I can't seem to get it to do audio out from USB-c to USB-c. Has anyone else run into this?

settings/sound/output if the mackie speaker shows up select and boom.I'm using an LG GP9 with the same connection had the same thing. Not an issue just need manual adjusting. Or try different cable.

Cancel the whole thing...Just read about the connection.Usb-C to usb-C cable won't work with this soundbar. You have to use the cable what comes with this speaker and then use an adapter to usb-c....This makes no sense....

@@AOAvina I kept on reading people complaints about the one speaker. and realized this has been an issue for some time now for most costumers. I figured I might be buying one of the last and might be gambling on luck with a return. So I canceled it a couple hours after posting this. Too bad, I was really excited about it at first. I'm going to spend a bit more on a different brand.

@@ImAdapt73 yeah it sucks bc my first one sounded good but that one speaker was noticeably low. The soundbar sounded nice but I’m disappointed that they would let it slide
