Mackie ProFX6v3 audio mixer review and test

So I got an awesome new mixer open box for a great deal and i had to jump on it. Im loving everything about it so far. So happy that I upgraded because this thing is for sure a major upgrade from my old one. Link below. And yes i know i say many wrong terms. I get nervous talking and forget what i say :P

Hi. I just bought the New Mackie profx 6v3+. I am running windows 10. I downloaded the new drivers 5.5.8.0. For some weird reason my computer keeps on freezing once I plug in usb. I can't run any other applications when the Mackie is plugged in..any idea what the problem CV could be??

This is my audio interface for radio voice tracking and production. Love this little thing. I record into Adobe Audition, and tweak a little, then good to go. The preamps are fantastic.

i purchased same Mackie profx6v3 audio mixer i set it up everything's sounds great from mic to headset but i couldn't make the connection to have an audio and video output to record on my iPhone 13 pro max could you help me with the right connection Thank you.

I don't know what the deal is with this company and their engineering. The Big Knob Studio gets very hot as well as this mixer. They're not simply warm, these devices are hot! These things are as hot as amplifiers... makes no sense. The Big Knob studio's main volume quickly developed issues with the right channel when adjusting the level. I have to goof with volume a little bit for the right channel to kick in. I believe the heat caused the issue. Seems that the metal cases are being used as heat-sinks? They sound great otherwise!

Yeah actually it's great. I use a cloudlifter type device with mine to boost my dynamic mic but yeah it's very clear

Happened to see this video on my feed so here I am. You spent way too much time with the reverb settings, I'm sorry to say. I have owned this mixer, the ProFX6v3 for a couple of years. The reverbs are Meh, with most of them sounding just as variations on a theme so to speak. The Mic preamps are much better than with earlier mixers, with Mackie now using Onyx preamps. I missed the Bluetooth, and just this week purchased from Amazon a 1Mii B06+ HD Bluetooth receiver and connected it using a high quality 3.5 mm cable to inputs 5/6 of the mixer. I use inputs 3/4 for direct cable connection from my phone or tablet. A few months ago I purchased a Yamaha AG06 Mk2, which is USB powered and the various settings tweaked by an app. (So I have the ProFX6v3 and the Yamaha; yes, I'll admit to being a gadget freak; but hey, I'm retired but not retarded!!!) I can connect the Yamaha to my laptop without AC power so it is so handy to set it on a desk to record. Have to use a regular microphone and not a USB microphone though. Lastly, about the USB in the Mackie. Uses Channel 1-2 USB channels. So if you record on a laptop, the entire mix goes on just one Stereo track in the computer DAW. (I use Cakewalk) Mackie needs to move on up to USB 4/4 instead of USB 2/4 which the ProFX6 series use. And ditch the USB-B as USB-C is now state of the art.

@@thehellboy1001 I believe you need an iPad or a laptop with the right DAW software to interact with these USB Interfaces. But Garage Band is a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that can run on an iPhone I believe...
