Great tune - excellent composition, great players (every one of them), and wonderful musicianship. IMO we're at the beginning of the emergence of a distinctive new sub-genre - Kenyan jazz - much like South African jazz emerged as a sub-genre in it's time of that nation's struggle against apartheid. The difference here is this is a joyous music made in a free society, it's not protest music. It's also great to see that tutelage of the young ones - the next generation - is alive and well. Mack, you're the man of the moment in the music in Kenya right now, alongside your cats!
