My grandmother just died at the age of 82. The last few weeks of her life i spent a lot of hours beside her side. The last day of her life she wasn't able to respond anymore, she was to weak. When I arrived at her house (my family was already there) i took her hand and i told her that i was here, that we (my family) were here and that is was oke, that she could find her rest. She died very peacefully that evening. I'm very grateful to have known her and to have inhereted some of her characteristics. At night when i can't sleep i think of her putting her hand om my shoulder and i fall asleep. Grandmother i love you!

This is the first thing popping up on my KZbin when I now finally laying in bed after a very emotional day. Macklemore, this song alone made up memories from my entire life I had with my grandmother.
