8:15 I want to clarify something here: there are no 'radical forces' on both sides. There's a colonizer, and then there are freedom fighters who are willing to sacrifice everything for their cause. If you want to know who the real landowners are, look at who's fleeing to their motherlands at the first sign of bombardment, and who stays, taking shelter in their home, refusing to leave.

Zufällig über die Reaction gestolpert. Und ich muss sagen ich hatte nicht erwartet dass hier ein deutscher Rap-reactor ist der sich echt gut mit dem Thema auskennt. Sei es die Repression gegen "from the river to the sea" oder die Einordnung der Schlüssel der Vertriebenen der Nakba. Im deutschen Diskurs fühlt man sich sehr schnell verloren als jemand der pro Palästina und gegen Völkermord ist. Danke dir für die Reaktion, hat mir Kraft gegeben!

Regarding your point at the 08:50 mark... When the IDF started to flatten Gaza after October 7th, thousands upon thousands of people turned out, across Israel (in Tel Aviv especially), to protest against what Netanyahu was doing. Conservative estimates say 5 figures turned out, other estimates say 6 figures - either way, that's a lot of Israelis who don't agree with Netanyahu. It received no real news coverage - anywhere, other than social media. Many everyday Israelis knew that destroying Gaza would achieve nothing, that it wouldn't stop "Hummus" (trying not to get the comment deleted!), and that it would almost certainly ensure that the hostages never made it back (common sense really... If you flatten a house, expect the occupants to be harmed!). They knew it was the wrong approach and that the wrong people would suffer, because civilians would pay the price, rather than those responsible for any of the atrocities. It's very easy to assume that every Israeli is a zionist who wants to annihilate Palestine, because that's what the news tells us - but they really aren't. I know so many who are appalled by what is happening. No matter your politics, every person with an ounce of compassion wants peace. But "divide and conquer" rules supreme, because it requires minimal thinking and is actively encouraged. And whilst everyone in-fights, we are not watching the few who DO want war because they gain from it - in arms deals or land acquisition. THEY are the ones who deserve the wrath of ALL of us.
