I'm always surprised when white people make fun of orange shaded lipsticks and say they would never go out with them. They're not made for you.. somebody who has darker skin puts that on, it looks stunning. I think white people are just used to all makeup being made for them. And I don't mean this in a mean way at all

Your so true but tbh it’s really made for anyone. But white people aren’t really used to makeup just being for them like anyone can wear a orange lipstick and it might look good it might not but it’s just what they want, like, and feel comfortable wearing ❤ and that lipstick was kind of like an orangey pink color

As a white person, most red lipsticks look orange on me and I don't like the color orange. It's not that I think everything has to be "made for me," it's just that I don't think it looks good on me 🤷🏼‍♀️ Also, not all white people have the same complexion. There are SO many shades in between all of the skin tones (which is why there are SO many foundation shades!) and shades will look different on people depending on if someone's skin is cool-toned or warm-toned. It's not always just a matter of "black" or "white", or "dark" or "light." It's actually mostly a difference of cool-toned or warm-toned. And people have different preferences. Maybe some people like orange! But I wouldn't say that someone disliking a color is a sign that "they believe everything is made for them." That's just silly.
