Thank you SO much! I just finished mine today (worked on it for 2 days). It’s my very first macrame project and I came into it not knowing a single knot! I love the finished art! Thanks again! ❤️

Loved it. Found it hard to follow due to camera angle if you could put camera in front more would be easier for us blind folks to follow. Stunning outcome well done my dear. ❤ Love to continue to follow if I could see the project a tad better. All in all fantastic thanks!

You can use 2 colors and put them in any order, just make sure the pieces are symmetrical when you attach them.

Hi, I did them around the spiral knots pieces on the ends, the square knot chains, and the middle section

Will 72 yards be enough for this project?
@MandalaBunnyhome2 жыл бұрын
It should work if you do it this way: cut your 16 x 160 inch pieces, work through the whole dreamcatcher until you get to the part where you wrap each section, then use what you trim off to cut all the other pieces. You will have enough waste after trimming to cut all the other pieces.

I've done this twice now and I am pulling ridiculously tight and the back loosens everytime. What am I doing wrong?
@MandalaBunnyhome2 жыл бұрын
Do you mean the beginning where you're doing the double half hitch knots on the ring? Your first knot of the double half hitch is coming loose while you're making the second knot (to complete the double half hitch). Try holding the first knot in place with your finger until you complete the second knot so it doesn't loosen. If that's not what it is then please let me know more specifics. Thank you for watching!
@glammess212 жыл бұрын
@@MandalaBunnyhome thank you for replying. No, I'm very well versed in macramae... normally... my knots are super tight. I hold very tightly before looping the last part of the half hitch and hold very tightly all the way through. I got the entire thing done and the back loosens up and the bottom loosens and drags. I have a picture of it. I'm so disappointed. I've done this twice now and it has done the same thing each time. I'm using a 19 inch hoop, but I adjusted length and amount of cords to accommodate.
@MandalaBunnyhome2 жыл бұрын
@@glammess21 I'm not sure unless it has something to do with scaling up the project. You can send me a picture on instagram @mandalabunnyhome and I can see if anything stands out, I'm not sure why it would be coming loose.

Loved the pattern and end result, however a lot of cord wasted on the 16x4m requirement.
@MandalaBunnyhome3 жыл бұрын
Hi, the main reason for that length is the square knot sections and somewhat the spiral knot sections, I tried going shorter but kept running out there. I may try to rework it to make some of them shorter, but the variation in the different knots makes it hard to set the length.

Hello! What if I'm going to use 14 cm in diameter ring?
@MandalaBunnyhome4 жыл бұрын
You need an 8 inch ring, it won't work with a smaller one
@ruby072414 жыл бұрын
what adjustments could you do for a 10 inch hoop.
@MandalaBunnyhome4 жыл бұрын
It's hard to say because that's a big difference from the 8" hoop, I don't really have any advice for that, sorry. Maybe try a smaller project to experiment with it? One assumption I would make is that since you're adding an extra 25% to the hoop size, maybe you could multiply everything by 1.25 so it adds 25% extra to all the pieces? But again that's just a thought, not sure if it works like that lol

Is it okay to use 4mm cord instead of 3?
@MandalaBunnyhome4 жыл бұрын
I probably wouldn't for this project unless you also use a bigger ring because the pieces will take up more space around the ring. You'll also need to cut them longer since the rope is thicker.
@katlynadams93194 жыл бұрын
How long is the finished product?
