Macrame Feather With Beads | Macrame Feather Leaf | Macrame Feather Tutorial

Hello everyone. Today I want to show you how to make a macrame feather with beads!
You will need cords 3mm thick:
4 cords 140 cm /55 inch
22 cords 30 cm /12 inch
One stick 15 cm /6 inch and 3 beads
Size without fringe:
Width: 6 cm/2,3 inch
Height: 14 cm/5,5 inch

well.. i finally got it and measured exactly the length strings for this and it was by far not long enough . barely got thru the 1 st bead and ran out of string

The length of the main threads on which weaving is 4 cords 140 cm /55 inch. They could not end after the first bead. Maybe you started weaving on threads 30 cm long?

You can use spray glue, starch, and hairspray. Try what you like best. Look for spray glue for needlework on the Internet.

can i use 1.2 mm thick cord to make it thinner? i bought the wrong size cord.

You can, but the feather will be small and the fringe will not hold its shape well.

If you click top right of screen there is a settings cog, click that and you can alter playback speed
