Macrame Fruit Hammock (Easy DIY Tutorial!)

If you're looking for some fun kitchen storage ideas, come learn how to make a super easy DIY macrame fruit hammock in this step by step tutorial and free pattern!
This fruit and veggie holder project is perfect for beginners and beyond and the instructions are super simple. It only uses 3 knots!
This fruit hammock hangs right up underneath your cabinets, so it's great if you don't have room for a hanging basket or another type of fruit bag or hanger.

I found 90" was nowhere near long enough. I had to remove two rows of square knots just so the cord would tie one knot around the bottom pole. Otherwise though was a nice pattern

You can wrap a piece of tape around the ends and it’ll help- some rope and string does that worse than others!

Im using 4mm cotton cord and i couldn't fit 12 pieces on my rod so I'm trying with 10 pieces, i made another one with a different type of cord that was 4mm and 12 fit just fine.

F.Y.A. I cut the ropes at 100" and my hammock ended up being only 15" rod to rod. I knotted more closely and smaller than the videos
