@@Bunny2319b Nods, to many good properties are being ruined. Very few western shows anymore are worth watching. It's like watching a checklist anymore of this or that cause were the message is more important than plot or character development and thus entertainment.

@@KeithEngel 😒 Japanese media including anime has plenty of political and ethical commentary it’s just easy for Western audiences to ignore….even works that are pure criticism get praised for being purely entertainment with zero politics. It actually very fascinating to observe from a sociopolitical POV, the anime & audience reactions to them.

13:10 I’d like to point out that it’s not a bad omen. bad omen troupe in any media is when picture falls to the ground and break the glass but since the glass didn’t break. it means that the family will face many challenges and hardship but they will push through it to the very end.

The family picture falling at the end is an extra bad omen because the word for “fall” (ochiru 落ちる) is also used for “fail” as in exams. That’s why they all look so shocked and gloomy as they stare at the photo white Twilight’s final words in the episode being “ochita” (It fell / We failed). Also, the three teachers at the interview are Housemasters, not headmaster. A headmaster is equivalent to a school principal, whereas I assume a housemaster is something like housemasters (like McGonnagall of Gryffindor) in Harry Potter.
