Excellent tutorial. LED lights work if you don't have flash, and a normal lens on a high resolution body and cropping can work too. Horizontal shooting gets round the need for a special tripod.

Great idea! Couldn';t they use a reflector if they only have a single flash? I realize the reflected color won'y be as bright.

Good question! Yes, a reflector would work and would not be as bright as you indicated.

I use an L-bracket. The brand that works best for my camera is by "Three Legged Thing."
