Another inspiring video. There is so much in the world about us that we ignore. You are teaching us to wonder and to see which is a great gift. Thank you and keep up the good work. Just going to put on my macro lens and go out into the garden!

Nice one Liesl. You are quite skilled at finding everyday objects and making them into interesting photos. Soda bubbles indoors in the summer--perfect! Cheers, Jeff

I always wanted to try macro photography but the lack of info or the very technical things in the videos of youtube made me a little bored and uninspired. Today I was watching Irene Rudnik, she made a video about experimenting macro photography and she said that she got inspired by you and I just went to your channel because FINALLY someone that does macro with such a passion and shows it! And not just photos and talk and talk about that picture 😅 I have done some macro photos with my phone because I can’t afford a macro lens but this is great, that you show how to in a phone too! Where did you get you phone macro lenses? I had mine from Wish 😂 Thank you for sharing your work with us ❤️

Thank you for your very nice comments, I'm so glad you're enjoying these videos. I'm using macro lenses for my phone made by the company "Moment" and also by "Olloclip" but just like with big DSLR cameras, you don't have to use the most expensive gear to have fun with photography. In fact having the challenge of using a cheaper lens or camera can help you to focus the most on your creativity and the composition of your image, which are both the two most important things. Keep saving up and some day you can get the lens you really want :-) but until then, enjoy experimenting with what you have and some of these early images will remain your favorites all your life, because it's the joy of the experience of seeing and connecting with your subject that creates the best memories.

Some stunning images there Liesl. It's impressive how many good photos you got from a glass of coke. At first I thought it was an advert. Good stuff.
@LieslHuddleston5 жыл бұрын
I got carried away with that glass of coke haha! It was meant to be a small part of a larger video with lots of subjects, these two took too long, so I think the next one will be several more items but in quick succession. Maybe ? Videos never seem to turn out the way I picture in my mind LOL Thanks for the comment :) Have a great weekend!

Very creative Liesl, the bubbles seem very happy with your music! :) I was a little worried how to spend the summer if the pools are still not allowed to open... Thanks for the great ideas, I'll try to experiment it in the hot hot summer! 💕

Is that a Moment lens on your smartphone? I have been considering buying some Moment lenses for my phone.
@LieslHuddleston5 жыл бұрын
Yes! Some of the photos and video are with the Moment macro lens and others with Olloclip and a few with DSLR & 100mm macro. All (except the first 2 photos) have small text above the top left of the photo saying which lens was used. Let me know if you think that text is too small to read, I'll try to do it differently in my next video :)
@RoyBlackwell5 жыл бұрын
@@LieslHuddleston Ah, did not notice that lens info the first time I viewed. Might be hard to view if using a smartphone to view the video.
@LieslHuddleston5 жыл бұрын
Good point! I'll definitely make the text larger next time. Thanks!
