Thank you for this explanation, I'm interested in the point you mentioned about how GDP can measure the successfulness of a policy, but don't you think that there are some cases where a certain policy need more than one year to measure it's effectiveness, or to thoroughly implement it? in such cases, should we look at the annual GDP from different years and not only the last one?

Im super early to learning economics on my own and lead my self to this video so my question is since a house was built in in a given year same as a car i would imagin. So used car lots buy here pay here dealers would those be counted for the present year the car dealer gave someone there service by selling them the used car?
