My teacher said that the tax multiplier should always be negative because it indicated that the multiplier times the amount of money should always yield a negative amount of money because it means that the government is spending money. So if the spending multiplier is 4, the tax multiplier should be -3.

@JacobAClifford it would be helpful if you emphasized that the tax multiplier is negative. So using your example if spending multiplier is 4, then the tax multiplier is -3. I didn't know that till my macro teacher told me. You're still the best, but in case people are self-studying solely off you, that's just an FYI.

If I had one suggestion it would be to slow down. Macro is already overloading my brain but this was like listening to the MicroMachines man teach a foreign language. Dizzying. There were even words cut off & not pronounced clearly & I had to think about what the word could be. Just try to annunciate & speak clearly, then maybe it won't be so overwhelming.
