@@cody3335 heck yeah love washed out too; this pulls so much from the heavy Jazz influences that Mr Jun Seba used heavily in his work especially in tracks two and three on the record. its crazy i have the top liked comment on this video thanks everyone for appreciating this amazing artist as i am

I've liked all the albums I've heard so far. But this one stands apart somehow. The combo of dark smoky jazz and 90s lounge influence, the atmosphere and mystery and nostalgia. Like a groovy cybernetic reincarnation of chet baker.

Your compilations take me back to working at a fancy jewelry store back in 2004/2005; we would get cd-mixes sent from HQ to play at our store, and the music sounded so much like your compilations. Reminds me of that pre-recession exuberance; showing $250k rings to couples married just over a year.

The courier presses his forehead against layers of glass, argon, high-impact plastic. He watches a gunship traverse the city's middle distance like a hunting wasp, death slung beneath its thorax in a smooth black pod. Hours earlier, missiles have fallen in a northern suburb; seventy-three dead, the kill as yet unclaimed. But here the mirrored ziggurats down Lázaro Cárdenas flow with the luminous flesh of giants, shunting out the night's barrage of dreams to the waiting avenidas-business as usual, world without end. The air beyond the window touches each source of light with a faint hepatic corona, a tint of jaundice edging imperceptibly into brownish translucence. Fine dry flakes of fecal snow, billowing in from the sewage flats, have lodged in the lens of night. Closing his eyes, he centers himself in the background hiss of climate-control. He imagines himself in Tokyo, this room in some new wing of the old Imperial. He sees himself in the streets of Chiyoda-ku, beneath the sighing trains. Red paper lanterns line a narrow lane. He opens his eyes. Mexico City is still there. The eight empty bottles, plastic miniatures, are carefully aligned with the edge of the coffee table: a Japanese vodka, Come Back Salmon, its name more irritating than its lingering aftertaste. "Virtual Light" by William Gibson

@evekay332 жыл бұрын
you can always copy paste the track names into google translate japanese -> english! offhand i can tell you the album title reads "Terminal Point"
@alantalbott10952 жыл бұрын
Album is "Terminal Point" Side A: Final Means (saigo no shuudan) Left at the End (owari ni nokosareta) [title has a typo and reads 'owaro'] "Unkept Secret" Please do not talk to me (watashi ni hanashi wo shinaide kudasai) Forget the Night (yoru wo wasureru) Side B: I don't forgive you (watashi wa anata wo yurushimasen) Don't worry about it (ki ni shinaide) Lose me until the end (saigo made watashi wo ushinau) Unfamiliar Remembrance (michi no omoide) Neverending Story (owarukoto no nai monogatari) It should be noted that most of these titles are pretty clearly autotranslated, as they sound quite clunky in Japanese.
