Yes, I agree that President Macron is exemplary in many ways, particularly for his mastery of the French language and his ability to deliver outstanding speeches ❤. Interestingly, during my brief time at Étoile Institut, a private institute in Paris, the teacher would frequently mock him, claiming that only bobos speak 'le français soutenu' like Macron 😂

Your teacher was an idiot. I am of very humble extraction and still pretty poor, yet I usually speak " français soutenu" as my normal version of french. Many people do. Some trainers assume too much and thus teach inaccurate things.

Moi je trouve le français est une belle langue, le problème à mon avis c'est que la grammaire et surtout la conjugaison est un peu difficile, beaucoup du temps, l'imparfait, le plus-que-parfait, le passé récent, simple, antérieur.... Et a chaque fois que je parle le français, je me suis perdu dans ce switch de temps.
