Major credit to Eleonore Caroit for staying composed and shutting down that nutjob
@dawahgstudio30126 ай бұрын
This is exactly what French ppl and Europe don’t want to see, ppl like Obono playing the victim, don’t even let the other speakers talk, blaming everyone else instead of thinking why ppl don’t want to vote for the left. You should be ashamed of yourself, attacking other parties on live TV like a street hooligan. Learn your debate skills before getting back to any debate. Unbelievable.

Madame Caroit was very impressive with her calm demeanor in the face of the constant harassing of this left-wing woman who behaved very uncultured. The host of the show was weak and lacked taking back control of the discussion which got out of hand when madame Caroit tried to explain her position.

“In November 2017, Obono was involved in another controversy after she defended union meetings in Seine-Saint-Denis that were closed to white people. After the government announced it would sue the organisers, Obono had an altercation with Mélenchon in the National Assembly, following his support of the government on this matter.” Totally normal French behaviour not some subversive self hating African

Yeah, I truly believe Mme Obono when she says she can be "much worse than that" and I can imagine how the behavior might be at the Parliament: off camera, surrounded by her peers; it's a very enlightening view.

You lost most people when you used the phrase ‘far right’.
@wilbertwallace66556 ай бұрын
I have to say, ther term “far right” it makes a little more sense in European elections as there is often a center-right Conservative Party. In America, Canada, UK, where there is first past the post or the 2 party American system, it really makes no sense as the media constantly uses it as a slur against mainstream conservative politics. I think meloni’s government is clearly mainstream right wing liberal party, National Rally I think could be called far-right because they are socialist and not liberal.

@cxarhomell58676 ай бұрын
@@wilbertwallace6655You know absolutely nothing about the National Rally, then. The party is nationalist, not socialist. Even in Europe, calling a party like this far right is very unusual and does absolutely nothing in terms of labeling because the party's political position is completely different in comparison to several other competing parties. If we apply your logic to your country's politics, then it still would not make any sense because Canada's "far right" parties are not even considered to be far right in the first place.

Thank you for reminding us why we should vote far right. I am referring to the discussion panel. And by the way, Meloni is far right, and her past two years as leader of Italy have actually seen a rise in votes in these European elections, because she has governed well and the people like her. So, why could we not see some of the same in France? It’s only radical left media that call these politicians far right. There’s no concentration camps in Italy. In fact, the government has opposed antisemitic movements in the radical left. They are not far right, they are just right.

Why is doing what's right a gamble. Sure... It could be a calculated strategy... But as far as I'm concerned it's also what should be done and Macron deserves the respect for more often than not doing what's right and not what's popular - a true leader (unlike the populists that want to get voters by doing what's popular - for that type of short sightedness we already have the public sector...)
