Love this build! One thing I tried, on your chest, add the Emergency Reinforce mod. It will give you damage reduction when your shields break to provide some more survivability... Just a something I tried and made it a bit stronger.

Also, instead of marksman dodge, use radiant dodge. So the cycle is, pop healing grenade for restoration, radiant dodge for radiant, and now get weapon kills with Tommy... Insane damage and healing simultaneously

Tommy's has been slept on for waaay too long. Paired with Dawn Chorus, Heat Rises and Melee centric, you'll have constant ignitions. I personally pair it with Well for just constant damage and orb creations. Major note; do NOT run Overload Auto Rifles if you're using Tommy's. It significantly lessens the damage of the Tommy's ignitions. With Dawn or Mantle of Battle Harmony, you'll do disgusting damage constantly.

I believe that no matter what the game is that your playing that you will still have a great audience and your subscriber count will continue to climb. I believe this because of the way you actually take the time to explain exactly what your doing and what's occurring in game specifically when it comes to numbers such as damage or percentages. You are one of the most thorough creators I have come across and you have a great personality so go for it man I think you will succeed being a content creator full time no matter what game you play. I've been running this build ever since watching this video and I must say... this is easily the build i've have the most fun with in this game. As a masochist, going to red bar health by burning through the Tommy's matchbook ammo while shredding everything in my path and then dodging to heal myself at the last minute, and then throwing down a healing grenade and continuing to shred but now I'm extending my restoration while still damaging myself slightly but with radience so I'm dealing extra damage to everything, and then gunpowder gamble to obliderate everything is such a satisfying loop and this build is my new favorite.

Since you are running surges anyways i would recommend trying out fonts to run with them. The font of wisdom and font of firepower would add 60 additional stat points to your build. Also with recuperation and powerful attraction it would add more survival to the build while also letting you collect armor charge from a distance

I just tried this build tonight. Survivability + steady solar damage output = fun times!! I’m rocking less than fully upgraded gear, so uptime on dodge is not as fast as you demonstrated.

Hey, have found your channel through the Will It Build series which I love as you really explain the synergies very well. Helldivers 2 obviously is The Big Thing right now (and deservedly so!) but it's not terribly complex build wise if that's the kind of content your looking to continue with. Path Of Exile 1/2, Warframe, etc have deep systems and the accessible way that you break things down could be useful in those spaces (I've no idea if someone already does that in those areas). Obviously needs to be a game your into and passionate about, the games I've mentioned are just the examples I can think of.

I’ve got a fun warlock build here utilizing an exotic that I honestly rarely give a second thought, Felwinter’s Helm! Suspend, weaken, unravel, and amass a threading army all through the power of a single melee. The amount of passive ad clear this build generates is nutty. Strand Warlock Exotic armor: Felwinter’s Helm Exotic Weapon: Wish-Keeper w/ hatchling Aspects: Mindspun Invocation, The Wanderer Fragments: Thread of Evolution, Thread of Finality, Thread of Fury, Thread of Warding Abilities: Healing Rift, Grapple, Arcane Needle Helmet Mods: Harmonic Siphon, Hands-On, Dynamo Arm Mods: Momentum Transfer, Bolstering Detonation, Heavy Handed Chest Mods: Dealer’s Choice depending on burns Leg Mods: Better Already, Innervation, Absolution Class Item Mods: Powerful Attraction, Distribution, Reaper Weapons: Alt exotic-the navigator, Judgement of Kelgorath w/ demolitionst, Apex Predator. But honestly whatever works for you with a strand enabling weapon. The basic gameplay loop is melee a red bar to weaken everything around it and generate a tangle. Zip around with the grapple grenade to continuously spread weaken and generate extra tangles or throw them to suspend enemies to take advantage of Wish-Keepers increased damage to suspended targets. Finish yellow bars and throw your rift down to throw a threading army in the mix while utilizing hatchling as well. It’s a super fun reinvigoration to an exotic that I honestly don’t think I’ve ever used until now!

Honestly, if you did indeed branch out I'd be happy just watching some 'Let's play" style of vids or even branching out your 'Will it Build' to other games that have a decent amount of character customization. Baldur's Gate III is the first game that comes to mind but there's a ton of games out there where people always want the best version possible of their playable character. Keep out the work!!

Got an interesting build for you, I call it "Roadborn without a plan": Void Titan, sentinel shield super, Controlled Demolition and Bastion aspects. Rally-cade, your choice of jump, shield throw and Vortex Grenade. Fragments are Exchange, Obscurity, Expulsion, and instability. Weapons are Chaperone, funnel web (I got a subsisence/adrenaline junky) and Taipan or your choice of void heavy. And No Backup Plan for Titan exotic. Chaperone hits like a truck with the buff, rally-cade gives on demand overshields, and both Funnel Web and Taipan are nasty with volatile rounds. Stealth on finishers from obscurity are great if things get hairy.

2 points to raise. 1 gunpowder gamble counts as a grenade for every source in the game except adrenaline junkie (probably a bug) and as such when you use it with ashes to assets it's free extra super energy especially when you nuke a group and you can still rock a healing grenade. 2 using a chill clip weapon on kinetic really only matters for covering all champions since radiant already gives you antibarrier so in the coil specifically it didn't matter if you switched it out..otherwise good stuff and I kinda wanna try this out now

Ok firstly, I will say that I just found your channel not to long ago and I have enjoyed every video I've seen so far, as well as popping into a few streams when I have the time. Your videos have helped me improve my gameplay just by watching, and explaining everything to the point is helping me understand how everything works together. Secondly I think, if the game is still big after 3 months, I think if you like fast pace exciting games, Helldivers would be a good game to add more content and to pull in other audiences to your channel. Interviews with game devs, execs, top players (pro and amateur) , beginners, composers, console game execs, e-sport producers, charity gamers, gamers from around the world - I'm a fan of the you-tube "Diary of a CEO" - so far I haven't seen any CEO's but he has a lot of interesting and diverse interviews. The gaming industry is huge and there are many people involved in it that most folks rarely get to hear from. Anyway, best of luck, I hope you do well!

If you're running gunpowder gamble, you should definitely run the healing grenade. Gamble ignitions trigger ashes to assets and fire power. With the healing grenade equipped, you don't need ember of mercy, so instead running ember of empyrean to extend your radiant and restoration is best imo

As a Tommy lover I may inform you that Tommys will not kill you. After the shield break your health is not decreasing through tommys. You are still 1 Shot but you can’t die through tommys itself.

So, fun fact: Ashes to Assets, Firepower, and other grenade triggered mods all trigger off of Gunpowder Gamble! So totally worth still running those with Healing Grenades as long as you are running Gunpowder Gamble!

Personally, I run something similar but with Speedloader Slacks. You can run Powerful Attraction on class item and Recuperation with double Solar Surge on boots to get a similar effect as having wormhusk.

Can't wait until mercy actually works as intended! Edit: (editing as I watch the video to add more) I stan the free health on orb pick up mods (better already and recuperation) with recuperation being the go to. With the amount of orbs we generate as a fire team it's pretty hard to die with them equipped. Non destiny content? Destiny is honestly the only game I play (I'm a father of a 5 month old now) but I do enjoy watching some helldiver's content every now and again. I know.. very original haha.

Really hope the full time creation gig takes off for you, you make some very quality stuff and have helped a ton of Destiny players. I think as far as non-Destiny stuff, you could really look at something like Last Epoch from a buildcrafter standpoint and probably find a lot of success there. The Diablo community is huge, and has been pretty unhappy with Diablo 4 for a while, and Last Epoch looks like it is poised to really steal a lot of that playerbase, and could potentially be a longstanding piece of the community. The buildcrafting looks pretty deep, and could be really fun. Beyond that, stuff like Helldivers 2 could be fun, GTA 6 when it gets here, maybe the new Pokemon game that just got announced today, not sure what other types of games you like playing, but you bring a good amount of joy to your Destiny content, if you find something else that lets you show that joy then I think you'll do fine with whatever it might be.

it may sound a little strange, but i'd love to see you do some videos on some card games, like magic or pokemon. you seem to be a nerdy (it's a compliment i swear lol) person in general who'd be into tcg/ttg stuff, and with your ability to breakdown things and explain them in detail i'd love to see decks you could create to do fun and goofy things
