I don’t understand how people who are blessed with the ability to create music talk down or dismiss music. It’s all created from the same place. I love music so much I can’t understand it

@@2KCustomerService I’m not talking down on it, I enjoy sample beats that’s just not the way I started. You have to have patience to learn what those those top sample producers do, I respect it as an art form, I just didn’t come from that and when I started I didn’t have anyone to teach how to do it and there wasn’t KZbin then. And when I heard they take some of your pub I figured I’ll stick with keyboards. I will sample every now and then but for the most part I like keyboard beats. I’m not knocking them because they get real creative with it but to take 4 bar loop and put drums over it is easy.

@@2KCustomerService well this is my point, when I heard him disrespecting producers who create from scratch I had to speak up.

@@oO5Dynasty I’m with you bro. I just recently came to a point in my sound where I knew I had to open up emotionally so I’m still figuring out this emotional musician stuff 😂

@@2KCustomerServiceRiggggggght, it’s crazy to think about. How does one express themselves musically with emotion. That was my exact problem when I first started trying to create from scratch. ESPECIALLY since I had no knowledge of music theory. I mean I opened up Fl studio in the year 2003 which was called fruity loops before they got sued. I had no idea of how to use the program and I had no idea on how to make music. So how was I going to put my emotions on a track and sampling producers skip these steps. They wanna make a sad song they go find a sad sample and flip it and say that was hard to do.

He was being a bit arrogant but not on purpose I don’t think. He’s just one of the top sample producers and was probably just expressing how much he puts in to sampling. They don’t really get credit for being musicians from musicians that actually play, so they are a little offended and defensive about that, I think. Some musicians just see them as people stealing music and making a beat with it and not acknowledging the mental and creative aspect that goes in to it.

@@ThaBeatBuffet Yo when my lady speaks I listen 😆. Dude I also love the history of sampling, my favorite producer of all time is Rsonist of the heatmakers. He is a sample based producer, so you know when I speak I’m speaking from the heart feel me. I love the sample based community but to have 9th wonder disrespect the original beat making community made me speak up! I’m getting a ton of hate for standing up also but hey God pick me for this task! Love the fact you are supporting my videos thank you and all the blessings to you on the real!

Do you think he meant that more work goes into sampling that’s why it’s more difficult? Or that it’s more difficult from a creative and intellect perspective? I personally think it’s more difficult to create from scratch because you have to use music theory whether you know it or not, and have an ear… creating original music is like creating the whole puzzle and sampling is like taking it apart and putting pieces of it together.

Man I love what you said here! I really like your mental processing man! So to be honest as a fan of music I don’t even like to get into this type of mental break down of music. To me if it sounds good man it sounds good and let’s all groove to it. So for me to try to dive into his mind on why he said it, goes against what I want to do. But since I want to defend producers who start from scratch, I think somebody tried to disrespect him and the way he creates. I think he has built up a deep emotional response to defend his stance. To say you did not create the sine wave is a deep deep defense when god created the sine wave. Do you know we can produce the sine wave with our mouth when we are humming? Sampling is cutting a lot of steps and I mean a lot. When he samples he is gaining from the equipment that was used to create the original piece. So now he doesn’t have to spend money on buying gear to even make music. You are right they are taking a completed puzzle apart to put it back the way they want it to fit. But why break a completed puzzle 🧩 in the first place. Go buy your own puzzle box and put it together from scratch by yourself. Feel me!!!!!!! Feel me!!!!!! Dude feel meeeee!

Peace brother....again, I can't agree with the downplay of sampling. Anyways keep going on the music, you're blessed with it. BUT also. Alchemist turned this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYe2hqiOYqyDZ7ssi=TZOvQRMS4DdpsBSA into this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/npyrlKN7fqyfY6s Most people who so-called sample aren't just making that. That's a deceptively high level chop; to the point that it sounds like a loop from a different song. That's not easy to do. And I got more receipts. But yeah Daft Punk - Face 2 Face. I cite that again, because no disrespect, but you, me, or any fledging producer is just gonna be able to sample at that high level. I don't care. It's like a bunch of 2-10 second sections from like 20 different records and it all sounds like it's just simple chops from one record. That's phenomenal. And IS NOT EASY.

I will be honest, you will not be able to change my opinion. You have surface level examples that don't go to the level of what I am talking about. Also, this comment was flagged by KZbin, maybe your account is being flagged. I approved this comment and then replied to you.

I have to reply to you under this comment, because your new comments you just made got flagged again by KZbin. I’m currently on my phone and I can’t access those blocked comments to approve them. Your account is being tracked and your comments are being flagged because of some reason. When I made the comment about your mental health I was being sincere. When I see that you keep ignoring pretty much everything I said in my videos and comment with a comment to get your point across shows an issue. You deliberately keep trying to make your point and that to me can be looked at as disrespectful. You are not listening to me so I do t think my KZbin channel is for you. I also think because KZbin has shadow banned your account and flagged your comments constantly, shows you must be doing this on more than one channel, which is the reason I said you need to be taken off this platform. My comment to you was a straight up legit feel about your situation. If you feel it was disrespectful then I apologize about how I made you feel. But I feel disrespected when people only want to get their point across and ignore what I am saying about this debate. You need to find out why your account is being limited.
