Even the new khmer music can't even compare to it no matter how much they try. That why u see all these covers still. Not just in the state but Cambodia itself. I always remembered my dad used to play this in his car, so i asked him, "Why do you play Sin Sisamouth's songs so frequently?", he said it was a way to remember his past, as his dad was a survivor from the khmer rouge, and also always used to listen to Sin Sisamouth before he passed away.
