as a connoisseur of esoteric and obscure media, such as angels egg, ninth configuration, seventh seal, the empty man, suspiria, etc. mad god really hit the note and i can heavily recommend it. its something else. the mix of vulgar, religious, philosophical, torturous imagery mixed with the classic industrial kaczynski critique, so many notions of topics, it is truly a fantastic blend of beauty meets anguish and im sure that its considered to be a timeless masterpiece by the wheels of time despite its sometimes disgusting senselessness as in the sexual themes. give it a try!

I love obscure films and animations. Jan svankmajer, the brothers quay, the bollocks brothers...they were all great. However, I didn't enjoy Mad God. Even for it's obscurity the film is too long and for the most part is just nonsense. The soundtrack is good though.
