In my opinion Shinn always has been the best pilot of mobile suite. Better than everyone even kira. The character has strong content and clear purpose. Also focus, determination and brave heart. Is courage gay. He is absolutely the best for a lot since the first time i saw him in Destiny saga. Thanks Shinn for make me feel like you.

Not really. It's proven that he can't do anything against Kira and Athrun once they get serious. All of Shins wins over them have always been because the two were holding back. But once Kira got the Strike Freedom Shin couldn't do anything to him because Kira was being serious after they attack ORB. Even when it was a 2v1 with Rey Shin still couldn't land a hit on him. And let's not even go on Athrun destroying him on their seed mode. Shin relies too much on anger to activate his seed while the other two already found other ways to consciously activate it on a whim. And what clear purpose are you talking about. Shin is a confuse mess and Durandal took advantage of his malleability to fight for him. His backstory doesn't make sense on why he hate ORB when it was the Earth forces who invaded and killed his family.

@@NAJ_P_Jackson he hates both since his family died due to orb refusing to stand down and protect their ideals. So yes his vendetta against orb still makes sense. Is it reasonable? Probably not, but he can't help it throughout the series.

If only this was the true route they went with for the series. Then again if they did then this video wouldnt have been made and I doubt that Gundam SEED Freedom would have been made. Maybe it would have been. I dont know. (Haven't watched it but i've been spoiled to a decent amount of it. Still wanting to watch it for myself." LOVE LOVE LOVE the video. It really shows who and how Shinn really is. Someone wanting to be strong to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Shinn Asuka has and still is my #1 favorite gundam character and pilot.

exactly，in this route Shinn have more times to reflect what he has done.he tried to save other extendeds like Sting but failed,so he start to realize that not only power can save this world。After Gilbert Dullindal used Requiem to exterminate Earth Alliance，Shinn recognized him was also a violent maniac and Athrun was right.So he escaped from ZAFT with Lunamaria.after he go back to orb,he meet Mu again.Mu apologized to him for his guilty and told him everything about Stella,Sting and Auel.
