If I'm not mistaken, the previous set does not include regular blu-ray discs but this one does. So for a slight increase in price, you get the extra 5 discs as well as the booklet and a snazzy petrol can shaped box. Well worth the price imho but only if you do not already own the previous set.

That does look like an amazing set for fans of the franchise, apart from the cardboard sleeves for the disks 😞(assuming that's how it comes, I can't tell from the photo but the previous set looks that way). How do you feel about that ? I'd be very worried my 4K disks would pick up minor scratches that might lead to playback problems down the road plus it just feels "cheap" and not in keeping with a "premium set" imo.

@@tigerblue42 Iv used digi packs before and my 4k never got more damaged with them. . It looks nice in the petrol can. As I have the cine editions from hmv I will pass unless it’s in the sale 🤭🤭

@@jimmyboysmovies1972 That's good to know, I usually think of a "digi pack" as being made of cardboard but still having a spindle for the disk(s) eg. in the Hitcher set but I can't get my head around these cardboard sleeves myself, they would almost certainly be a deal breaker for me if it was a set I was interested in. I'm not a potential customer of this set anyway tbh as I'm not that big a fan of the Mad Max franchise. I thought 1&2 were good, 3 I've only seen bits of and never appealed, 4 (fury road) was good and an amazing achievment in terms of practical effects/stunts and 5 (furiosa) was just "OK" imo (too much bad CGI that kept taking me out of the movie along with a couple of other problems). It does look like a really good set for fans though and the petrol can look is a nice touch.

Good video as always Jimmy 👍 I'd love to get this but already have the first 4 in the steelbook box AND also the 3 HMV 4K cine editions so will be passing on this edition, it looks great but it's a no from me.

@@johnfitzpatrick9994 thanks John ☺️ . I got the 1st 3 in the same cine editions . I wasn’t to impressed with the Road Fury 🫣🫣 and I haven’t seen Furisoa 🤭 . But that is too much for me so I am going to pass aswell . Unless it’s in a big sale 😂😂😂
