I know you did cinematography on Sicario but I'd love to see a feature of its editing. I think Joe Walker did a fantastic job. Love this Artisans series by the way

+TheDragonSmasher So glad you like them. We usually get one episode per film, so it's unlikely we'll do a second "Sicario" episode. I agree about Joe's great work. Would love to devote an episode to him. He was part of some of our very first episodes -- the Below the Line Impact roundtable episodes from summer 2014.

Would have been nice if you had talked about the cameras used in Fury Road. I heard they used 11 Alexas and 11 Canon 5Dmark II s.

+Taglio La Barba Per Vedere Un Film Thanks! We will!
@oddballsok8 жыл бұрын
+Taglio La Barba Per Vedere Un Film yes, well. Only info in that respect is: use multiple cameras (obviously beneficial to editors and actors) and use a detailed script board..like an animation... which also makes common sense for visually strong films. Nice info, but not surprising.

came here after the release of "Gaslands Refueled" to go to the root of the inspiration. What a movie, what cinematography !
@leobergmiller8737 жыл бұрын
Sure, Lubezki can take the oscar for cinematography, but the directing for Mad Max was WAY more impressive on Mad Max than The Revenant. Literally Miller had to do like 90% of that shit on moving cars...

I love how the movie came to be, because George Miller initially wanted to revisit Mad Max, using this story, and have DC Comics print it, but decided, "Might as well make it a movie"
