sadly its not music of the future, shitty composers are slowly taking over and with older generations dying its gonna eventually disappear :( its sad because im 93' and i always choose such classics over commercial tracks full of stolen ideas just composed in fl studio....but im just one in a thousand, i dont know any single person of my gen who shares the love for 90s electronica wih me
@J43rv110 жыл бұрын
da23injulecz The good stuff's still there, you just have to sift through a lot more rubbish to find it. Same goes with older records as well, just because they're from the 80's or 90's does not make them automatically great. Find your local scene and you'll meet others who share your taste, trust me.

Turns the soul. Give something modern without soul and imagination. Personally I don't particularly care for this song in terms of listening enjoyment; it doesn't make me want to dance, day dream, or get high, etc. and actually makes me kind of anxious. However there's one reason I love it and that's the sheer raw talent required to produce a track this layered with such a large soundscape at the time it was made, it is truly incredible. I wouldn't put this on a playlist but the fact that people produced songs like this when they did is amazing and it paved the way for the more refined sounds and sub-genres we have now. And for me the way I listen to music I like to explore the history of a genre via listening to what was actually made. I have a big appreciation for this era of music because it was the beginning of the best time in electronic music. Artists like Mad Mike, LTJ Bukem, CJ Bolland, Aphex Twin, Laurent Garnier and way too many other great ones to list here pioneered a sound that defined an entire generation. And to me that's cool. I don't know why I posted this long comment, I guess to see if anyone else feels the same? What are some of your favorite artists between 1994-2004 ?
