The fight against Godfrey was incredible. On one side an ancient gladiator from the times of the coliseums, who became very strong and was forced to live in the darkness of a helmet, on the other the elden lord himself, trying to restrain himself so as not to release an ancient monster. However, they both gave their all, until the last strength, and both won what they wanted, a dignified fight and it was really "a glorious fight".

The Mad Pumpkin Heads are one of my favourite enemy designs in this game, not to mention one of my favourite Spirit Ashes to summon, just a big guy that helps you out, love them. Thank you for this specific matchup.

@@Lokitellus you can get the mad pumpkin head ashes in caelid there are two catacombs in caelid one next to a minor ertree and and the other catacomb is behind the dragon communion church you need to go down a hill thats where you found it

With maliketh you never really know till the very last second if he is going to win or not. With every other boss , you get get an idea of the outcome 10 - 15 seconds into the fight ,but not with this guy.

Yup, That’s why he isn’t boring because even though he has something like destined death, you still cannot predict his outcomes. He is so balanced. For me, he's not because I wanted him to have more hp and poise than he has, tbh.

For me, if the contender can kill Godrick before his second phase, they most likely will have the dps to kill Maliketh and Malenia 1st phase.

They give normal strong mobs like the pumpkin head a proper boss health-bar to see how well they do. It's to make it entertaining and it works if you ask me.

​@@DuncanMaisonneuve-kk3vfTier 29 refers to Elphael area scaling. It's got nothing to do with Malenia since Remembrance bosses are balanced and stated separately. Area scaling exists to act as a multiplier on enemies and overworld bosses for them to become harder as you progress into the late game.

Godfrey at best ties (although I dont count it as such- he died before the pumpkin head) with a enemy that other endgame bosses stomped, once again....Even radagon managaed to bring it to the brink of death even though he has much lower hp and dps than godfrey.

This channel nerfs Godfrey so damn hard its not even funny... his poise is much higher than that and he seems to just have so much less resistances than he should

Pumpkin heads have very high physical resistance (on the head at least) but have zero resistance to holy.

@@s8theninjawarrior916 I actually think it's the opposite, and we see here the real Godfrey. And his stats are absolutely not nerfed I'm sure of it

@@greebgeee181 Here Godfrey has FAR less poise than in game. He always gets poise broken like 3 times per fight and doesn't do as much poise damage, the downward strike he does after each combo is supposed to poise break almost anything, especially if he landed his previous combo. And he somehow NEVER gets to use the earthbreaker move, because he always gets poise broken as he does, its suspiciously almost when he does the move that he gets poise broken. Try and notice it. And as soon as he goes into phase 2, he gets poise broken and gets obliterated in seconds, even though he has like 3k less hp than at that point in the fight.... Radagon should in NO way, not a single fight, do better than Godfrey except in the very rare occasion where the ennemy is weak to holy and has like 95% physical damage resist
