Brilliant teaching, Nico! At 2:32 & 3:32 where the chords are referenced to the lick is excellent. Most instructors just show how to play a solo with no reference or teach licks and say, "Practice these in all keys," without referencing the chords underneath. With this tutorial I can steal licks and use them in other keys/songs because I get the context. Keep up the good work gentlemen.

Exactly right! That’s what it’s all about. In all of my transcriptions too I generally label the chords above the solos, context is everything! Glad you enjoyed Nicos work and I’ll let him know!

Hey Markus, I think you’ll find power chords with the 6th degree added in that boogie style for the more rock and roll rockabilly, or even open chords. It’s a broad question! Can you specify?
