You were mentioning that you had to pay 50 euro for him your driver to drive up to you. Makes sense. My question is when do you pay? Because I know you arranged for a driver in advance but obviously your itinerary was flexible so did you pay day by day? Was there a deposit before you got on the island? Thanks!
@how_to_travel_the_world4 жыл бұрын
yeah we had that company and you pay when you arrive. You pay the agency which was really trustful. I think you saw my other video right?

Thank you. may I ask what site did you use to book accomodation, just to avoid fake sites :)
@how_to_travel_the_world7 жыл бұрын
+Melania Giorgetti hey so there are two ways how we booked it. Tripadvisor is still my favorite way to find decent places to stay. And when you go with a driver they will recommend places. This is how we traveled. We drove to certain towns where we wanted to stay and the driver showed us places and we decided when already there. Also if you check out all 4 Madagascar videos I made you can see in which hotels/backpackers we stayed at. Don't miss out on ile aux nattes. This is still one of the greatest places we EVER been to!

Hi, we have planned our short trip of 5 days to Madagascar in Sept, after our safari trip in Kenya. We will be visiting Andasibe, how do you rate the small parks around it?
@how_to_travel_the_world7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for asking. So we went to the big parks Analamazaotra and Mantadia. We also did some smaller hikes and smaller parks which were only ok. We didnt really see much but you pay quite a lot for the guide even for smaller hikes. Not so sure if I would do this again. Still a great place to go though! Madagascar is amazing! Kenya sounds goot as well! How long will you stay in Kenya?

+Manuel De La Rosa oh man you are great. Thanks. I get a couple of cents which is always nice. But I also do this for the love of traveling and video making :) for example for you :) so I'm glad the videos help you. The accommodation for driver was somehow included. So when you rent a room somewhere they will always give your driver a bed. Food for the driver was included in the daily fee for the car rental. Does this help you :) so I tried to include all the costs we had in these videos,...this was really what we spent

Was everything ok with the agency/driver? Were you happy with your choice? 50 EUR/day + petrol seems fair, I just got a few proposals with higher rates (65 EUR+)

Hey mate! The company GMT+3 was awesome! They are really reliable and the planning was easy! So the company was very good and also the driver was really nice and helped us a lot while planning the trip. So send them a message on facebook or via email, sometimes they are slow in answering but they wont let you down. Who told you 65+? Was this another company? Cheers

Hey! I got rates from a few different companies recommended on the tripadvisor forums. I will contact GMT+3, thanks for the tip, appreciate it.

Interesse hätte ich schon, bin aber unentschlossen wegen der Impfrichtlinien und Malariaprophylaxe ect. ;-)
@how_to_travel_the_world7 жыл бұрын
Locker! Ich würde nach Madagaskar fliegen! Einer der besten Orte
